1st Memories are signing my first pro contract and scoring my first league goal vs Walsall.

Played match at Exeter & the crowd attendance that day was bout 4,500! I did an clearance with the ball in to the stand and hit my land lady. Out of        4,500 on that day that was in the ground I managed to hit the only person that came to support me. Unbelievable!

7) Plans for the future?

Coaching, Media, Management and Charity work and P.F.A.

8) What's the future hold for clubs you've played for?

W.B.A exciting times! Derby need to slowly improve team over next few seasons to get back into top flight. Portsmouth, just needs to consolidate and get some solid structure back there. Doncaster are doing fantastic with themselves as chairman John Ryan has put that club on the Map again and they could be a surprise package for season ahead. Barnsley, have done incredibly well over the years. Fantastic club where everyone gives 100% on and off the pitch that's why they're in the Championship. Torquay will always float between League 1/2 but will always have soft spot as that where it started for me. Bradford City, its a shame to see what has happened to this impressive club, its a good job they have such a huge fan base and that over next 5 Years will see them back up towards Championship or even Premiership? Watch this space. Burton Albion.is a Great Club a lot goin for it only 3rd year in the League so a lot of work ahead but teams looking good, manager is right Man to take this club onto next level and compete with bigger clubs.

9) Who did u room with at all clubs?

WBA Russell Hoult, Derby Giles Barnes, or Micheal Johnson, Portsmouth Linvoy Primus, Barnsley on my own! Bradford Jamie Lawrence and burton Jack Magoma, torquay Paul Trollope, Doncaster can't remember!

        The Baggies.

INTERVIEW WITH EX COVENTRY, WOLVES, VILLA MAN -STEVE FROGGATT

1)    Which club did you enjoy playing for the most?

I loved them all, I spent over 4 years at each club and had a great time at all of

them. I’ve been asked to play in the Midlands Masters the last few years but

never wanted to pick which team to play for. I was asked to play for all 3 again

this year. Maybe I should play once for all of them not to cause offense.

2) Your earliest memories of career?

Kenny Dalglish pulling my shorts down a s I ran past him in my first ever game

for Villa’s first team in a friendly in Scotland. He was my idol so I’ll always

remember that.

3) Best ground played at?

Tokyo Dome

4) Best player played against?

Luis Figo

 5) Best player played with?

  Paul McGrath (GOD)

6) Any funny stories memories etc?

Far too many to write down, but as a little taster Michael Glikes came in in a

brand new pair of shoes that cost him £150 snoots I brought in a Stanley knife

and scored the soles out than stuck them back in with sellotape. When he put

them back on after training his feet came straight through the bottom. If only I

had a camera to take a picture of his face, priceless! Needless to say he got me

back but that’s another story.

7) Plans for the future?

I work for the media part time and run 2 small businesses one doing personal

training www.stevefroggatt.com and the other a pest control business

www.envirogroup‐es.com

8) What's the future hold for clubs you've played for?

Villa still, appear a long way off the top 4‐5 and it’s all down to money.

Wolves under Mick have done great to remain in the top flight let’s hope it

continues

Cov need money badly and someone to take over them quickly.

9) Who did u room with at all clubs?

Tony Daley at Villa and Wolves he was also best man at my wedding good to

see him doing such a good job with the pro’s fitness at Wolves, never had a

regular roomy at Cov although I shared with Marc Edworthy a few times.

10) Who do you support?

Liverpool

11) Which team would you liked to of played for?

  Lincoln City (My Hometown Club)

12) Most memorable game?

Again too many although at Villa being in the squad that beat Man at

Wembley, at Wolves FA cup semi final at Villa Park v Arsenal. And for Cov the

game v Everton, where I scored a very lucky goal.

13) Most memorable goal?

Goal v Everton for Sky Blues Live sky game 25 yarder top corner, could have

gone anywhere.

14) Any superstitions?

Not to get injured. It never worked!!!!!!
